Basic Diploma in Interior Design

This one year diploma in interior design is recognized by university. The course curriculum aims to introduce the students to the basic modules of principles of design, basics of drawing and graphics, interior and exterior treatment, computer applications, portfolio development and viva voce. Industrial visits are also planned to give the first feel of the interior industry to the students.

Advance Diploma in Interior Design

The advance diploma in year two aims at the creative aspects of interior & exterior designing of residence, office, restaurants, history of exterior and interior design, site planning, estimating and costing, one point and two point perspective, model making, field visits. The final level covers designing of lighting techniques, ceiling designs, site visits, workshops, market surveys, Auto Cad projects and Design Sheets Presentation. The students have to undergo 1 month internship under the architects to have a practical experience.

BSC Degree in Interior Design

Year 1: The 3 year BSC Degree ID course is recognized by the UGC DEC approved University. In year one, the students will learn basic principles of design, basic drawing and graphics,computer applications,practical projects in interior designing along with the basic knowledge in English. The students also experience industry exposure, field trips , market survey's under the expert guidance of the faculty.The aim is to lay the strong foundation of the design students in the level one of the degree course.

Year 2: The year second aims at developing the technical aspects of building technology, theory of architecture, life space planning, business communication skills, computer graphics, practical projects on interior designing. The level two of the BSC Degree course provides with the much developed exposure to the practical projects, industry visits, market or brands exposure of different interior products used in designing.

Year 3: The year third and the final year aims to provide the finishing skills in interior treatments, furniture fittings and applied art and craft in interior design, CAD, entrepreneurship development. The students also undergo the industrial internship which provides them with the relevant work experience for their future career.

NOTE: The lateral entry admissions to the year 2nd of the BSC degree in Interior Design are also applicable to the students who have done 10+2 plus diploma in Interior Design/ interior design from the recognized university or Polytechnic institute.The lateral entry admissions.

Postgraduate Diploma/Degree

Post Graduate Diploma in Interior Design

Year 1: The programme is recognized by the UGC DEC Approved University. The year one of the post graduate diploma or the MSC Degree ID, aims to introduce the basic and advance aspects of elements of interior design, architecture drawing, history of architecture, enviournmental studies, Computer Aided Rendering Techniques, Practical projects Viva voce. The students are also exposed to various industry visits, seminars by experts, market exposure.

MSC Degree in Interior Design

Year 1: The programme is recognized by the UGC DEC Approved University. The year one of the post graduate diploma or the MSC Degree ID, aims to introduce the basic and advance aspects of elements of interior design, architecture drawing, history of architecture, enviournmental studies, Computer Aided Rendering Techniques, Practical projects Viva voce. The students are also exposed to various industry visits, seminars by experts, market exposure.

Year 2: The level two of the MSC Degree in ID aims to develop the technical skills in building services, interiors of residential houses, commercial buildings or projects, estimation and costing of the projects, project management. Portfolio development in advance level.The level two includes the industry internship of 6-8 weeks in which student gets practical experience.

NOTE: The lateral entry admissions to the year 2nd of the MSC Degree in Interior Design is also applicable to the students who have done graduation plus PG diploma in Interior Design of minimum one year duration.
